Living a Healthy Life With Chronic Conditions Series Begins August 1

A six-week series, “Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions-Getting Your Life Back” is being offered for free through the Area Agency on Aging of the Capital Area and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office of Fayette County. The sessions will be every Thursday starting Aug. 1 through Sept. 5 from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Schulenburg Public Library meeting Room, 310 Simpson Street in Schulenburg.

This program will emphasize skills needed in day-today management of treatment and in maintaining or increasing activity. Topics will help you learn how to:

• Manage Symptoms

• Incorporate Exercise

• Monitor Nutrition

• Talk with your Doctor.

• Make Informed Treatment Decisions

• Deal with Emotions
