LHS One-Act Plays Keeps Advancing; Area Next

The La Grange One-Act Play team poses after learning they advanced to area after last Saturday’s bi-district competition.

The La Grange High School One-Act Play competed at the UIL 21-22 4A Bi-District meet at Royal High School’s Jimmy R. Davis Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 29. The troupe performed “These Shining Lives” by Melanie Marnich and received one of three ADVANCING PLAY awards. They will compete at the Area Contest at Bastrop’s Jerry Fay Wilhelm Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, April 8. The LHS OAP is under the direction of Alizabeth Calhoun.
