LGISD Approves Lots of Personnel Changes

The La Grange ISD school board met Monday.

New teacher/professional staff for the 2024-25 school year will include: Brook Bradley- middle school science teacher/coach; Barry Donovan- high school math teacher; Alec Hathcock-elementary physical education/coach; Carolyn Honish-elementary 3rd grade resource teacher; Elana Ledwik Carlile-high school English teacher; and Megan Schulze-high school math teacher. There are several transferring from one position to another. They include: Cameron Hammontree-from elementary physical education/ coach to high school science teacher/coach; Terri Prihoda- from elementary special education teacher to diagnostician; Traci Schmidt-from 3rd grade elementary math teacher to 5th grade elementary math teacher; Rhea Wagner-from diagnostician to LSSP (licensed specialist in school psychologist); Chance Willard-from high school special education teacher/coach to high school speech/health teacher/coach; and Reyna Morin-from middle school educational aide to 18+ paraprofessional. Resignations were received from Melissa Vladyka-elementary 5th and 6th grade resource teacher; Diane Goetsch-high school/ middle school food service; and Cheryl Pavliska-middle school nurse.
