LGISD Announces Personnel Changes

Some staffing updates were announced at Monday night’s specially-called meeting of the La Grange School Board.

New hires include: Dana Byler-3rd grade teacher, Amanda Gentry-special education/3rd grade teacher, and Ilse Salinas-2nd grade bilingual teacher. The following teachers are transferring positions within the district: Janet Cervenkatransfer from high school special education math to high school DAEP, Jill Hutchinstransfer from elementary special education teacher to diagnostition, Hatti Moore-transfer from elementary physical education teacher to elementary special education teacher, and Shelley Stark-transfer from high school business teacher to high school resource math teacher.

Resignations and/or terminations were received from Ted Ferritti-elementary physical education teacher/head softball coach, Kristy Finley-2nd grade teacher, and Randall Goode-high school AEP teacher/coach.
