LG Splashpad Not Open Yet, But Maybe Soon

The La Grange Splashpad will hopefully open next week.

City Manager Jack Thompson said the City normally opens the splashpad for the spring and summer season once temperatures warm up for several consecutive days. That would have been this week, he said. But when City workers were getting it ready last week, they discovered a malfunctioning circuit board.

Thompson said workers also need to replace some of the foam padding around the splashpad. The repairs should take about a week, he said.
