La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Aug. 17-24.

Animal Complaint

On Aug. 22, Garza was dispatched to the 800 block of S. Reynolds regarding a hurt deer.

On Aug. 23, Garza was advised to call complainant in the 500 block of W. Lowerline in reference to an animal complaint. 

Civil Matter

OnAug. 17,Armstead was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Franklin in regard to a civil matter.

OnAug. 17,Armstead was dispatched to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy 71 Business in reference to a civil matter.

Citizen Assist

OnAug. 17,Armstead was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline regarding a citizen assist.

On Aug. 24, Garza returned a phone call in reference to the square being blocked off by cones.

Disturbance

On Aug. 18, Garza responded to the 500 block of N. Jefferson regarding a verbal disturbance.

On Aug. 18, Garza was dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Sunset for a disturbance.

Accident

On Aug. 19, Officer John Wostarek spoke with a caller in the 800 block of S. Vail regarding an accident in the parking lot.

OnAug. 21,Armstead was dispatched to the 1300 block of N. Jefferson for an accident.

On Aug. 23, Officer Jesus Garza was flagged down by a citizen in the 400 block of E. Travis for an accident in the parking lot.

Bodily Injury

On Aug. 22, Officer Brett Meinardus was advised of a caller reporting injury to a child in the 500 block of S. Cindy Lane.

Littering

On Aug. 24, Meinardus responded to the 300 block of Rose Mayer where complainant advised of a house wrapped with toilet paper and they banged on the bedroom window.

Fraud

OnAug. 20,Armstead was dispatched to the 600 block of W. Lowerline in reference to fraud.

Reckless Driving

On Aug. 22, Meinardus responded to the 800 block of E. Guadalupe for a reported white Challenger driving through at a high rate of speed. Officer was unable to locate.

On Aug. 24, Meinardus responded to the 1800 block. of E. State Hwy. 71 Bypass for kids causing issues in the drive through.

Suspicious Person

On Aug. 23, Garza was dispatched to the 200 block of N. Monroe in reference to a suspicious person.

Suicide

OnAug. 17,Armstead was dispatched to the 1800 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in reference to a suicide.

Trespassing

On Aug. 20, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy.71 Business regarding trespassing.
