LG EDC Seeks Board Member Applications
The La Grange Economic Development Corporation (LGEDC) is currently accepting applications from residents interested in serving on its Board of Directors. The LGEDC has two vacancies and is seeking communityminded individuals who are passionate about attracting new investment, helping existing businesses grow, and strengthening the overall La Grange economy.
Board members play a vital role in guiding EDC programs, shaping economic development strategy, and providing oversight for initiatives that move La Grange forward. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on the community’s long-term prosperity.
Requirements for Board Service:
• Be a resident of the City of La Grange
• Be willing to attend regular monthly board meetings
• Serve a two-year term if appointed
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with board bylaws Board service is voluntary and uncompensated.
Applications will be accepted through 5 p.m. on Friday, July 10, and may be submitted at the Historic Casino Hall front desk, 254 N. Jefferson Street.
