LG Career Fair Set April 14
The City of La Grange’s Office of Community Development is partnering with Workforce Solutions - Rural Capital Area to host the La Grange Career Fair on Thursday, April 14 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Historic Casino Hall, 254 N. Jefferson St. The Career Fair is free for everyone who participates as an attendee or employer.
Employers will find local job seekers who have the skills and capabilities needed to fill full-time, part-time and summer youth positions.
One focus for this Fair is on youth workforce development. We are recruiting employers who have part-time, summer, and internship opportunities for students. Target participants are 9th-12th grade students, ages 14-18, who want to find employment and learn about future opportunities available in Fayette County and beyond.
In addition to inviting local high schools to attend the Career Fair, the Fair will be open to the public from 2-6 p.m. on April 14th. This will be an opportunity for your organization to recruit full-time and traditional parttime employees.
