LEO Club Students Give Time Capsule to Archives

At Thursday’s La Grange Noon Lions Club meeting, the junior version of the Lions Club, the LEO Club, gave an update on several of their activities from the past school year. They also donated a time capsule they made and collected items for to Rox Ann Johnson of the Fayette Heritage Museum and Archives. Johnson was going to keep the time capsule in the archives for safe-keeping until the kids decided to open it at a to-be-determined future date. The time capsule (emptied out below) included everything from magazines, covid masks, eclipse glasses, an old cell phone, friendship bracelets and more.
