La Grange Senior Citizens Meet April 3, New Officers Selected

The La Grange Senior Citizen Activity Center, Inc. met on Wednesday. April 3, at the Randolph Recreation Center. The meeting was called to order by President Phil Oestreich. Member Larry Jackson offered a prayer and Janet Moerbe led the Pledges to the American and Texas flags.

Old and New Business was handled and new members of the Board were introduced. The new officers that have been selected are Phil Oestreich as President, Judy Zuhn as Vice-President, Helen Oestreich as Secretary, Marilyn Strmiska as Treasurer, and Marilyn Spillane as Reporter. More exciting and interesting trips are being planned. Door prizes were given out to 10 attendees.

The guest speaker was John Bartos, President of Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center. The Center is located at 250West Fair Grounds Road. Once Mr. Bartos had finished his presentation, everyone enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by Koopmann Catering.
