La Grange Police Respond to Several Animal Complaints
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the first week of July 7-14.
Animal Complaint
On July 8, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Jackson regarding an animal complaint.
On July 8, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1600 block of W. Hwy. 71 business regarding an animal complaint.
On July 9, Maxwell was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis regarding an animal complaint.
On July 10, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy .71 business regarding a skunk, returning to the store. A trap was set by animal control.
On July 14, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass regarding a snake in the building. Officer was unable to locate the snake.
Citizen Assist
On July 9, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 to assist a citizen.
Disorderly Conduct
On July 7, Haynie was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding disorderly conduct.
Disturbance
On July 8, Maxwell was dispatched to the 2400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding an irate customer.
On July 12, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of Northwest Circle regarding a disturbance.
Possession of Marijuana
On July 12, Maxwell conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of E. Eblin and a subject was arrested.
Motorist Assist
On July 11, Officer Brett Meinardus spoke with a caller in the 2400 block of W. State Hwy. 71. business that requested a hotel voucher. Officer informed caller they were no longer available.
Parking violation
On July 9, Maxwell was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Fannin regarding a parking complaint.
Suspicious Vehicle
On July 7, Haynie was dispatched to the 1500 block of W. State Hwy. 71 regarding a suspicious vehicle.
On July 8, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1900 Block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding a suspicious vehicle.
Welfare Check
On July 8, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Washington regarding a welfare check.
On July 10, Hayne was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Roitsch regarding a welfare check.
Unlawful Carrying Weapon On July 13, Meinardus responded to the 600 block of E. Lafyette regarding a subject with a firearm approaching people.
