La Grange Police Respond to Reported Thefts

Police Report

La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Aug. 4-11.

Theft

On Aug. 5, Officer Curtis Zwahr spoke with a caller in the 100 block of W. Travis regarding a missing trailer.

On Aug. 8, Zwahr responded to the 1600 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding theft.

On Aug. 10, Meinardus took a call of reported shoplifting in the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.

Accident

On Aug. 8, Officer Thomas Keeney was dispatched to the 100 block of W. Travis for an accident.

On Aug. 8, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 1100 block of Country Club Drive regarding a two-vehicle accident.

Animal Complaint

On Aug. 6, Officer Mitchell Maxwell responded to the 700 block of S. Washington for an animal complaint.

On Aug. 9, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Franklin regarding an animal complaint.

On Aug. 11, Maxwell was dispatched to the 2000 block of Hrbacek regarding an animal complaint.

Criminal Mischief

On Aug. 9, Archerd was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Travis regarding criminal mischief.

Disturbance

On Aug. 9, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 300 block of W. Northline for a verbal disturbance that started at Post Oak and the parties were separated.

On Aug. 10, Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Eckel regarding a disturbance.

Aug 11, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Eckel regarding a disturbance one subject was arrested.

Harassment

On Aug. 9, Officer Noah Geer was dispatched to the 100 block of W. Travis regarding harassment.

Public Intoxication

On Aug. 5, Meinardus responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of Edgewood. A subject was arrested for public intoxication.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle On Aug. 5, Officer Jeffrey Archerd was dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Travis regarding a suspicious person.

On Aug. 9, Geer responded to the 500 block of Koenig regarding a suspicious person.

On Aug. 11, Wostarek was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Travis regarding a suspicious person.

On Aug. 11, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1100 block of N. Franklin regarding suspicious circumstances.

Traffic Hazard

On Aug. 10, Maxwell responded to the 100 block of W. Live Oak for a traffic hazard.

Welfare Check

On Aug. 9, Meinardus responded to the 500 block of Cindy Lane for a welfare check.

Miscellaneous

On Aug. 6, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Jefferson regarding a loud person.

On Aug. 10, Maxwell was dispatched to the intersection of S. Main and W. Lowerline regarding a noise possibly like a gunshot.
