La Grange Police Respond to Reported Assault Calls
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Aug.10-17.
Assault
On Aug. 15, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business where caller stated that she saw a male possibly hitting a female at the location. Officer upon arrival was unable to locate victim or caller.
Assault by Threat
On Aug. 15, Officer Darrell Armstead was dispatched for an over the phone assault by threat service call.
Assault Non-Family
On Aug. 12, Officer Jeffrey Archerd spoke with a caller in the 800 block of S. Vail regarding an assault.
OnAug. 17,Armstead was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Jefferson regarding an assault in progress.
Agency Assist
On Aug. 14, Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of Springs Loop for a possible disturbance. Officer responded to assist.
Accident
On Aug. 10, Officer Jesus Garza was dispatched to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for an accident.
OnAug. 12,Armstead was dispatched to the 50 block of E. Eblin for an accident.
Animal Complaint
On Aug. 11, Armstead was dispatched to an animal complaint in the 400 block of N. Main.
Burglary
OnAug. 12,Armstead was dispatched to the 1700 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in reference to a burglary of the business.
Civil Matter
OnAug. 17,Armstead was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Franklin in reference to a civil matter.
OnAug. 17,Armstead was dispatched to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in reference to a civil matter.
Citizen Assist
On Aug. 13, Meinardus responded to the 400 block of E. Roitsch where caller stated neighbor was harassing her.
On Aug. 16, Meinardus spoke to caller regarding information on snakes.
Child Abuse
On Aug. 13, Garza responded to the 600 block of N. Jefferson regarding possible child abuse.
Disturbance
OnAug. 12,Armstead was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington for a disturbance in progress.
On Aug. 14, Garza was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline in reference to a verbal disturbance.
OnAug. 16,Armstead was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington in reference to a disturbance.
Loud Music
On Aug. 17, Archerd was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Horton regarding loud music.
Littering
OnAug. 12,Armstead was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 in reference to a littering service call.
Parking Violation
On Aug. 10, Garza was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy 71 Business in reference to a parking complaint.
Suspicious Vehicle/Person On Aug. 14, Meinardus responded to the 300 block of W. Lowerline for a vehicle with flasher on and driver slumped over. Vehicle left the location before officer arrived and unable to locate.
On Aug. 17, Meinardus took a call regarding a suspicious vehicle cruising through the neighborhood possibly taking pictures of houses. Requested a close patrol at night.
Trespassing
On Aug. 13, Garza responded to the 800 block of N. Madison in reference to a criminal trespass warning.
Theft
OnAug. 16,Armstead was dispatched to the 500 block of Cindy Lane in reference to a theft.
Welfare Check
On Aug. 13, Garza was dispatched to the 400 block of S. Washington in reference to a welfare concern.
On Aug. 14, Garza was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Lee in reference to a welfare check.
OnAug. 15,Armstead was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for a welfare check.
911 Hang Up
On Aug. 15, Meinardus responded to the 300 block of Fireside for repeated 911 hang ups. Child was playing with phone and calling on accident.
