La Grange Police Respond to Reported Animal Cruelty
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of June 2-9.
Animal Cruelty
On June 3, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 400 block of N. Vail on a report of animal cruelty.
On June 4, Keeney responded to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for a report of animal cruelty.
Animal Complaint
On June 4, Officer Seven Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of Edgewood regarding an animal complaint.
On June 4, Haynie was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Brown regarding an animal complaint.
On June 5, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Salm regarding an animal complaint.
On June 8, Officer Curtis Zwahr responded to the 600 block of W. Travis regarding an animal complaint.
Accident
On June 5, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries.
On June 7, Zwahr responded to the intersection of N. Jefferson and Colorado for a two-car minor accident with no injuries.
On June 77, Zwahr responded to the 400 block of E. Travis for a two-vehicle minor accident with no injuries.
Agency Assist
On June 2, Maxwell was dispatched to the 200 block of Svoboda regarding an agency assist.
On June 6, Meinardus responded to the 600 block of E. Guadalupe to assist with a bee attack.
Burglary of a Vehicle
On June 6, Meinardus responded to the 900 block of E. Upperline where caller stated subjects opened door and started her vehicle. Neighbor saw subject looking into car window and trying to open door. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle.
Civil Matter
On June 2, Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding a civil matter.
Citizen Assist
On June 9, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Monroe regarding a citizen assist.
Deadly Conduct
On June 3, Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding deadly conduct.
Disturbance
On June 2, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1100 block of E. Travis regarding a disturbance.
On June 3, Zwahr responded to the 400 block of S. Ellinger regarding a disturbance.
On June 6, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Travis regarding a possible disturbance.
On June 8, Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of Ellinger regarding a disturbance in a vehicle.
On June 9, Haynie was dispatched to the 300 block of W. Northline regarding a family disturbance.
Felony Warrant
On June 4, Keeney responded to the 200 block of N. Main regarding a warrant arrest.
Harassment
On June 6, Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding harassment.
