La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of July 26-Aug. 2.
Accident
On July 27, Officer Jeffrey Archerd was dispatched to the intersection of W. Cedar and S. Washington for a twovehicle accident.
Agency Assist
On July 27, Officer Brett Meinardus assisted deputies with a man laying on the shoulder of the roadway in the 1900 block of E. State Hwy. 71 Bypass. Subject was transported to the hospital.
Animal Complaint
On July 29, Meinardus responded to the 2300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for a large snake in complainant’s trailer.
On Aug. 2, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline for an animal complaint.
On Aug. 2, Haynie was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Cynthia for an animal complaint. Criminal Mischief
On July 31, Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of Northpointe regarding criminal mischief.
City Ordinance Violation On July 31, Haynie was dispatched to the 300 block of Northpointe regarding a city ordinance violation-dumping.
Civil Matter
On Aug. 2, Haynie was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Pecan for a civil matter.
Disturbance
On July 29, Meinardus responded to the 400 block of E. Travis for a verbal disturbance between two subjects in the parking lot. All were gone upon officers’ arrival.
On July 30, Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of E. Travis where subject stated autistic daughter was being rude to her grandmother.
On Aug. 1, Haynie was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis regarding a disturbance.
On Aug. 1, Haynie was dispatched to the 300 block of W. Lafayette regarding a disturbance.
On Aug. 1, Sgt. Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Main for a disturbance between parties.
On Aug. 1, Officer Adrian Ortiz was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Cedar regarding a family disturbance.
Discharging Firearm
On Aug. 2, Ortiz was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Madison regarding discharging of a firearm.
Fraud
On July 31, Haynie spoke with a subject in the Post Oak Road area regarding fraud.
Juvenile Complaint
On July 28, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Washington regarding a juvenile complaint.
On July 31, Maxwell was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Meyer regarding a juvenile complaint.
Loud Music
On July 26, Meinardus took a report of a car driving fast and blaring loud music in the 900 block of E. Lafayette.
On July 26, Meinardus took a report of loud music in the 700 block of N. Jackson.
On July 28, Ortiz was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Colorado regarding a noise complaint.
Runaway
On Aug. 1, Haynie was dispatched to the 100 block of Northwest Circle regarding a runaway.
Reckless Driving
On Aug. 2, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Reynolds for a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle On July 31, Meinardus responded to the 100 block of E. Guy for a car parked with the lights on.
Theft
On July 26, Meinardus responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for a theft.
Trespassing
On July 28, Archerd was dispatched to the 500 block of Koenig regarding trespassing.
