La Grange Police Report

La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Aug. 30 through Sept. 6.

Assault by Threat

On Sept. 5, Officer Jose Garza responded to the 700 block. of N. Horton for assault by threat.

On Sept. 6, Garza was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Main for assault by threat.

Animal Complaint

On Sept. 4, Animal Control Leslie Yezakl responded to the 1200 block of Laurie Lane for an animal complaint.

On Sept. 4, Yezakl responded to the 500 block of S. Franklin for an animal complaint. 

Burglary

On Sept. 4, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 1700 block of N. Jefferson for a burglary.

Civil Matter

On Sept. 6, Meinardus spoke to an individual at the police station concerning a civil matter.

Criminal Mischief

On Sept. 5, Garza responded to the 300 block of N. Jackson for criminal mischief.

Goat Bite

On Sept. 6, Garza responded to the fairgrounds for a goat bite.

Loud Music

On Sept. 4, Garza responded to the 400 block of W. Colorado for loud music.

Public Intoxication

On Sept. 2, Officer Steven Haynie responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for public intoxication. 

Theft

On Sept. 3, Haynie was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Crockett for theft.

On Sept. 6, Meinardus was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Walnut for theft from front porch.

Family Violence

On Sept. 3, Officer Jeffrey Archerd responded to the 800 block of S. Vail for family violence. Trespassing

On Sept. 4, Meinardus was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Jefferson for trespassing.

Welfare Check

On Aug. 30, Sgt. Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Fannin for a welfare check.

On Aug. 31, Meinardus responded to the 100 block of S. Jefferson for a subject possibly living behind Subway.
