La Grange Police Report
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of April 26 to May 3.
Assault
On April 26, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 400 block of Ellinger Road regarding an assault.
Accident
On May 1, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 900 block of N. Scherrer for a two-vehicle accident.
Agency Assist
On April 26, Haynie was dispatched to the intersection of Hwy 159 and Martin Lane for an agency assist.
On April 28, Officer Brett Meinardus assisted DPS directing traffic for a subject who tore down some power lines in a vehicle accident.
On May 2, Haynie was dispatched to the 900 block of S. Jefferson for an agency assist.
Civil Matter
On April 27, Meinardus responded to the 600 block of N. Horton regarding complainant wanting to report shoddy workmanship at her residence.
On April 28, Officer Jose Garza responded to the 1000 block of N. Von Minden in regard to a civil matter.
On May 2, Meinardus responded to the 500 block of W. Lowerline for a dispute over insurance.
Disturbance
On April 26, Haynie responded to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 regarding a disturbance.
On April 29, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline regarding a family disturbance.
Harassment
On April 29, Haynie was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Horton regarding harassment. Loud Music
On April 26, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block. of Cindy Lane regarding loud music.
On April 27, Garza responded to the 1000 block of N. Madison in refer, ence to loud music.
On May 1, Haynie was dispatched to the Hope Hill Subdivision regarding loud music.
Reckless Driving
On May 2, Meinardus received a call regarding a reckless driver in the 400 block of N. Jefferson. Officer contacted the driver.
Suspicious Vehicle/Person
On April 26, Officer Adrian Ortiz was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Franklin regarding a suspicious vehicle.
On April 30, Haynie checked the 2000 block of W. State Hwy 71 Business for a suspicious vehicle.
On May 1, Officer Jeffrey Archerd was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Travis regarding a suspicious vehicle.
On May 2, Meinardus was dispatched to the 200 block of W. Pearl for a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.
Theft
On April 28, Garza was dispatched to the 1300 block of N. Jefferson for an attempted theft.
On May 3, Meinardus responded to the 600 block of N. Madison for theft of a trailer.
Warrant Arrest
On April 26, Haynie was dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Madison for a disturbance. Officer placed a subject under arrest for an outstanding warrant.
