La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of July 27-Aug. 3.
911 Abuse
On Aug. 1, Officer Jose Garza was dispatched to the 300 block of Fireside for 911 abuse.
Accident
On Aug. 2, Officer Darrell Armstead was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Washington for an accident.
Burglary
On July 31, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 400 block of N. Jefferson for a burglary.
On July 31, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 1400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for a burglary. Civil Matter
On July 27, Meinardus responded to the 2200 block of State Hwy. 71 Business for a child custody issue.
On July 29, Armstead was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Roitsch for a civil matter.
On Aug. 1, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of N. Water for a civil matter.
On Aug. 1, Armstead was dispatched to the 1600 block of N. Jefferson for a civil matter.
Criminal Mischief
On Aug. 2, Haynie was dispatched to the 1400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for criminal mischief.
Discharging Firearm
On July 28, Haynie was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Travis regarding the discharging of a firearm.
Disorderly Conduct
On July 28, Armstead was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Colorado for disorderly conduct.
Disturbance
On July 30, Meinardus responded to the 800 block of Travis for a verbal disturbance.
On Aug. 1, Armstead was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington for a disturbance in progress.
Harassment
On July 30, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline regarding harassment.
Loud Music
On July 30, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of Northwest Circle regarding loud noise.
On Aug. 3, Armstead was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lafayette in reference to loud music.
Motorist Assist
On July 31, Meinardus responded to the 600 block of S. Ellinger where a car hauler high centered blocking roadway. Officer called for heavy duty wrecker and the roadway then was cleared.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle On Aug. 2, Haynie was dispatched to the 600 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass feeder regarding a suspicious person.
On Aug. 3, Armstead was dispatched to the 1600 block of N. Von Minden for a suspicious person.
Theft
On Aug. 1, Haynie responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business regarding a theft.
Trespassing
On July 30, Garza was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. Hwy. 71 Business to issue a criminal trespass warning.
On July 31, Garza was contacted by Wal Mart and met with the loss prevention officer and was advised they wanted to issue a trespass warning to an individual.
Violation of Protective Order On Aug. 3, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Jefferson regarding a violation of protective order.
Welfare Check
On July 30, Officer Jeffrey Archerd was dispatched to the 500 block of Cindy Lane for a welfare check.
On July 31, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Travis for a welfare check.
