La Grange Police Report
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of On June 22-29.
Assault
On June 23, Officer Noah Geer was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Travis regarding an assault.
On June 25, Officer John Wostarek arrested a subject in the 1600 block of N. Jefferson for assault by threat family violence.
Accident
On June 24,Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of Hollaway.
On June 25, Officer Jeffrey Archerd was dispatched to the 1200 block of N. US 77 for a two,vehicle accident.
Animal Complaint
On June 23, Animal Control officer Justin Pietsch picked up a dog in the 900 block of E. Roitsch and took to animal shelter.
On June 24, Officer Darrell Armstead was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Washington regarding an animal complaint.
On June 25, Officer Curtis Zwahr received a call of a deer in a backyard in the 300 block of W. Milam. The deer appeared to be uninjured and would get out on its own.
On June 28, Armstead responded to the 500 block of W. Lafayette regarding animal welfare.
On June 29, Armstead was dispatched to the 1200 block of N. Von Minden regarding a citizen assist for an animal stuck in a drain.
On June 29,Armstead was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Reed regarding a large dog in the backyard.
Citizen Assist
On June 23, Armstead responded to the 700 block of N. Washington for a citizen assist.
On June 23,Armstead was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Roitsch for a citizen assist.
On June 26, Zwahr responded to the 100 block of E. Colorado for security due to a large crowd.
On June 28, Armstead was dispatched to the 700 block of S. Madison where a child was locked inside a vehicle.
Harassment
On June 23, Wostarek spoke with a caller in the 300 block of Wood Hollow regarding harassing text messages.
Public Intoxication
On June 22, Geer arrested a male subject in the 1000 block of N. Franklin for public intoxication.
Road Hazzard
On June 27, Geer observed a water leak and water coming out of cracks in the road in the 100 block of W. Colorado. Officer called city utilities and reported water leak.
