La Grange Police Report
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of April 13-20.
Accident
On April 15, Officer Brett Meinardus worked a two vehicle accident in the 1000 block of E. Travis. No injuries.
On April 18, Meinardus responded to the 200 block of W. Colorado for a one vehicle accident. Subject hit a concrete light pole on the square.
Animal Complaint
On April 15, Officer Mitchell Maxwell responded to the 300 block of E. Guadalupe for an animal complaint.
On April 18, Maxwell was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Jackson for an animal complaint. Civil Matter
On April 18, Meinardus spoke with complainant in the 300 block of N. Jefferson regarding children’s mother withholding children during the weekend.
Criminal Mischief
On April 15, Maxwell spoke with a subject in the 900 block of S. Jefferson regarding criminal mischief.
Disturbance
On April 16, Officer Noah Geer was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Travis regarding a non-family disturbance.
On April 20, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1600 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for an irate customer.
Fraud
On April 16, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Lafayette regarding fraud.
Family Violence
On April 16, Geer was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding family violence.
On April 17, Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding family violence bodily injury. Subject was arrested.
On April 19, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Colorado regarding family violence.
Harassment
On April 17, Chief David Gilbreath was contacted by a subject that advised a person at work made them feel harassed.
Loud Music
On April 20, Meinardus responded to the 1600 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for loud music. Subjects were advised to keep it down.
Reckless Driving
On April 18-Geer was advised that a reckless driver was failing to maintain a single lane at the Hwy 71 exit to US 77 South.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle On April 15, Meinardus responded to the 1000 block of Hwy. 159 for a subject possibly shoplifting.
Theft
On April 14, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1400 block of W. Hwy 71 Business regarding a theft.
On April 20, Meinardus spoke to caller in the 100 block of S. Reynolds regarding a bracelet she could not locate.
Trespassing
OnApril 18, Wostarek was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Horton regarding a subject trespassing.
Welfare Check
On April 14, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of W. Northline regarding a welfare check.
On April 15, Maxwell responded to the 100 block of E. Travis regarding a welfare check.
