La Grange Police Report

La Grange Police David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Jan. 12-19.

Assault

On Jan. 17, Officer Jeffrey Archerd spoke with a caller in the 500 block of N. Jackson regarding an assault.

Accident

On Jan. 16, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 2400 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business regarding a two-vehicle accident.

Animal Complaint

On Jan. 15, Animal Control Officer Justin Pietsch picked up a dog in the 2200 block of Hwy. 159.

On Jan. 15, Pietsch picked up a cat in the 200 block of Guy and took to the shelter.

On Jan. 15, Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of W. Travis regarding an animal complaint.

On Jan. 16, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 500 block of W. Lowerline for a dog that was loose and bit her leg, it did not break the skin and individual refused EMS.

On Jan. 17, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 600 block of W. Lafayette regarding an animal complaint.

On Jan. 19, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 300 block of N. Horton for an animal complaint.

Civil Matter

On Jan. 17, Officer Noah Geer was dispatched to the 200 block of Northwest Circle regarding a civil matter.

Harassment

On Jan. 18, Geer responded to the 200 block of Northpointe regarding harassment.

Juvenile Complaint

On Jan. 16, Meinardus received a call regarding a dispute involving a 16-year-old who wanted to go with friends and father did not want her to go.

Public Intoxication

On Jan. 15, Meinardus responded to the 700 block of E. Upperline for an intoxicated subject yelling and causing a disturbance.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle On Jan. 12, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Horton regarding a suspicious person.

On Jan. 14, Geer was dispatched to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 Bypass for a suspicious person.

On Jan. 15, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1900 block of State Hwy. 71 Business regarding a suspicious person.

On Jan. 15, Keeney responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for a suspicious vehicle.

Theft

On Jan. 14, Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding theft.

Welfare Check

On Jan. 12, Keeney responded to the 100 block of W. Travis for a welfare check.
