La Grange Police David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Jan. 5-12.

Animal Complaint

On Jan. 9, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of W. Lowerline regarding a dog bite. On Jan. 10, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 600 block of E. Eblin regarding an animal complaint.

On Jan. 10, Wostarek was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Eblin regarding an animal complaint.

Agency Assist

On Jan. 12, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to Bending Road for report of a mulch pile fire.

Citizen Assist

On Jan. 10, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 300 block of N. Jefferson for an individual that locked the keys in her vehicle.

On Jan. 11, Wostarek responded to the 500 block of N. Sarah Jo for a citizen assist.

Civil Matter

On Jan. 11, Officer Noah Geer was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding harassment and a trespassing issue.

Disturbance

On Jan. 6, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1100 block of E. Fannin regarding a disturbance.

On Jan. 7, Maxwell was dispatched to the 600 block of E. State Hwy 71 Bypss regarding an irate customer.

Public Intoxication

On Jan. 9, Geer was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Brown for a car doing burnouts. One subject was arrested for public intoxication.

Road Hazard

On Jan. 6, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Jefferson regarding a road hazard. City Utilities was notified.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle 

On Jan. 8, Keeney responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for a suspicious person.

On Jan. 8, Keeney responded to the 900 block of N. Horton for a suspicious vehicle.

On Jan. 9, Keeney responded to the 1000 block of E. Travis for a suspicious vehicle.

On Jan. 10, Keeney observed a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of N. Main On Jan. 12, Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Horton regarding a suspicious person.

Welfare Check

On Jan. 8, Officer Jeffrey Archerd was dispatched to the 500 block of Cindy Lane for a welfare check.

On Jan. 9, Haynie was dispatched to the 1700 block of N. Jefferson regarding a welfare check.
