La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Sept. 15-22.
Accident
On Sept. 19, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Main regarding an 18-wheeler stuck on the train tracks. Train was unable to be stopped in time and truck was struck.
On Sept. 19, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 300 block of N. Fannin for an auto accident.
On Sept. 20, Officer Noah Geer responded to the 1300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for a two-vehicle accident. Burglary of Vehicle
On Sept. 17, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Lester regarding burglary of a vehicle.
On Sept. 17, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of Heintze regarding a burglary of a vehicle.
On Sept. 17, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1100 block of E. Eblin for burglary of a vehicle.
On Sept. 17, Maxwell was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Cindy Lane regarding burglary of a vehicle.
On Sept. 17, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Salm regarding burglary of a vehicle.
On Sept. 19, Haynie spoke with a subject in the 500 block of E. Fannin regarding burglary of a vehicle.
Citizen Assist
On Sept. 16, Geer was dispatched to the 200 block of S. College regarding a citizen assist.
On Sept. 19, Haynie responded to the 1800 block of E. State Hwy. 71 Bypass regarding a citizen assist. Officer provided subject with a courtesy transport.
On Sept. 20, Geer was dispatched to the 300 block of Wood Hollow regarding a citizen assist.
Civil Matter
On Sept. 16, Geer was dispatched to the 500 block of Koenig Lane regarding a civil matter.
Criminal Mischief
On Sept. 15, Keeney responded to the 900 block of Roitsch for criminal mischief.

On Sept. 15, Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding a disturbance.
On Sept. 21, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Franklin regarding a disturbance.
On Sept. 22, Wostarek was dispatched to the 300 block of Fireside regarding a disturbance.
On Sept. 22, Maxwell was dispatched to the 500 block of Koenig Lane regarding a disturbance.
On Sept. 22, Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Franklin regarding a disturbance.
Family Violence
On Sept. 17, Maxwell was dispatched to the 400 block of N. College regarding family violence. Fraud
On Sept. 2, Officer Brett Meinardus took a report from caller about fraudulent activity in the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business.
Found Property
On Sept. 16, Geer was dispatched to the 1700 block of Voss Lane regarding found property.
Public Intoxication
On Sept. 18, Keeney responded to the 1200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business and arrested an individual for public intoxication.
Suspicious Vehicle/Person
On Sept. 16, Keeney saw a suspicious person in the 1900 block of Hwy. 159.
On Sept. 16, Wostarek was dispatched to the 600 block of E. State Hwy. 71 Bypass regarding a suspicious vehicle.
On Sept. 18, Haynie was dispatched to the 300 block of W. Travis regarding a suspicious vehicle.
On Sept. 18, Keeney responded to the 800 block of S. Vail for a suspicious vehicle.
On Sept. 19, Keeney responded to the 300 block of E. Crockett for a suspicious vehicle.
On Sept. 19, Keeney responded to the 100 block of S. Jefferson for a suspicious person.
On Sept. 20, Geer was dispatched to the 300 block of Northpoint regarding a suspicious vehicle.
On Sept. 21, Wostarek was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Main regarding a suspicious vehicle.
On Sept. 22, Maxwell checked out a suspicious person int the 1500 block of Hwy. 159.
Theft
On Sept. 16, Geer was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Colorado regarding an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Warrant Arrest
On Sept. 16, Geer arrested a subject in the 100 block of N. Washington on an outstanding warrant.
Welfare Check
On Sept. 19, Keeney responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business on a welfare check.
Miscellaneous
On Sept. 16, Haynie spoke with a subject regarding soliciting without a permit. Officer checked the suspects in the 300 block of E. Camp.
On Sept. 16, Investigator Stevens spoke with complainant regarding harassment.
On Sept. 21, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Brown regarding loud music.
