La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Sept. 1-8.

Animal Complaint

On Sept. 1, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 1200 block of E. Laurie Lane for an animal complaint.

On Sept. 1, Keeney responded to the 200 block of N. Horton for an animal complaint.

On Sept. 4, Animal Control Officer Justin Pietsch picked up a cat in the 400 block of S. Lester.

On Sept. 4, Pietsch picked up a cat on the 900 block of E. Eblin.

Accident

On Sept. 1, Keeney responded to the 1500 block of N. Jefferson for an auto accident.

On Sept. 3, Officer Bret Meinardus responded to an accident in the parking lot in the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.

On Sept. 3, Officer Noah Geer was dispatched to the intersection of Jackson and E. Travis for a two-vehicle accident.

On Sept. 7, Geer was dispatched to the 1200 block of Hwy. 159 regarding an accident.

Agency Assist

On Sept. 4, Officer Steven Haynie checked the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 regarding an agency assist.

On Sept. 6, Geer was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Jefferson regarding an agency assist.

On Sept. 8, Geer was dispatched to the 1800 block of W. Hwy 71 business regarding an agency assist.

Civil Matter

On Sept. 6, Meinardus responded to the 3600 block of FM 2145 regarding a child custody issue, it was solved between parties.

On Sept. 6, Meinardus responded to the 500 block of Koening where caller reported her vehicle was damaged when a basketball hit her car while it was parked.

Citizen Assist

On Sept. 4, Haynie spoke with subject in the 1000 block

of Sunset.

On Sept. 7, Geer was dispatched to the intersection of N. Jackson and E. Guadalupe for a citizen assist.

Credit Card Abuse

On Sept. 3, Geer spoke with a subject regarding credit card abuse.

Disturbance

On Sept. 2, Geer was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 regarding an irate customer.

Family Violence

On Sept. 3, Meinardus responded to the 900 block of Mode Lane for family violence. Found Property

On Sept. 1, Hayne was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis regarding found property.

On Sept. 2, Geer was dispatched to the 200 block of W. Pecan regarding found property. Fraud

On Sept. 3, Meinardus spoke with a caller that was speaking to a scammer over the phone, no monetary loss.

Harassment

On Sept. 3, Geer was dispatched to the 200 block of S. College regarding harassment.

On Sept. 3, Geer was dispatched to the 1100 bock of N. Von Minden regarding harassment. Loud Music

On Sept. 6, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 800 block of S Vail regarding loud music.

On Sept. 7, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of W. Colorado regarding loud music.

Public Intoxication

On Sept. 1, Keeney responded to the 500 block of W. Fairgrounds for a public intoxication report.
