La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of July 28-Aug. 4.

Animal Complaint

On July 28, Officer Noah Geer spoke with a caller about an animal complaint in the 700 block of N. Washington.

On July 28, Sgt. TravisAnderson responded to the 1200 block of E. Laurie regarding two dogs running loose in the area. Officer checked the area but found no sign of the animals and call was cleared.

On July 29, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 100 block of Esperanza for an animal complaint.

On July 29, Keeney responded to the 600 block of Leopard Lane for an animal complaint.

On July 31, Officer Curtis Zwahr assisted a subject with an animal complaint in the 100 block of E. Pearl.

On July 31, Officer Brett Meinardus took a report from caller regarding a dog in a vehicle in the 1900 block of W. State Hwy.71 business.

On July 31, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Pecan regarding an animal complaint.

On Aug. 3, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Jefferson regarding an animal complaint.

On Aug. 4, Haynie was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Roitsch regarding an animal complaint.

Accident

On July 28, Anderson received a call regarding an auto accident in the 2300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.

On July 29, Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of N. Jefferson regarding a twovehicle accident. On July 30, Haynie was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Jefferson regarding a twovehicle vehicle accident. On Aug. 3, Haynie was dispatched to the 160 block of W. Hwy. 71 business regarding a two-vehicle accident.

Burglary of motor vehicle Aug 3, Haynie responded to the 600 block of N. College regarding a burglary of a motor vehicle.

Citizen Assist

On July 3, Officer Brett Meinardus received a call where an individual was wanting information regarding her rights saving a dog in a car.

On Aug. 4, Haynie was dispatched to the 900 block of Hanacek to speak with a subject. Disturbance

On July 29, Haynie was dispatched to the 1600 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding a disturbance.

DWI

On July 31, Keeney stopped a driver in the 700 block of Upperline and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Fire

On Aug. 1, Meinardus found a vehicle fully engulfed in fire in the parking lot in the 100 block of E. Travis. Officer notified fire department.

Found Property

On July 31, Officer Curtis Zwahr recovered property from the roadway in the 2200 block of W. Travis.

Harassment

On Aug. 1, Meinardus responded to the 600 block of E. Walnut regarding harassment.

Public Intoxication

On July 31, Keeney arrested a subject in the 700 block of Upperline for public intoxication. Suspicious Person

On Aug. 4, Haynie was dispatched to the 900 block of Scherrer for a suspicious person.

Theft

On July 28, Meinardus responded to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business where subject concealed unknown items in bag and walked out.

On July 29, Anderson received a call for a stolen purse in the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.

On Aug. 3, Keeney responded to the 400 block of E. Travis for found stolen property. Terroristic Threat

On Aug. 3, Keeney responded to the 400 block of Lowerline for reported terroristic threat of a household member.

Trespassing

On Aug. 3, Haynie was notified of trespassing that occurred in the 100 block of N. Main.

Warrant Arrest

On July 29, Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of N. Main to arrest a subject with a felony warrant, subject arrested.

Welfare Check

On July 29, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Meyer regarding a welfare check.

Miscellaneous

On July 31, Geer was dispatched to the 700 block of S. Madison for an abandoned trailer.

On July 31, Meinrdus was dispatched to the 600 block of W. Lafayette for loud music from Colorado Street.

On Aug. 1, Wostarek was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Washington in regard to loud noise.
