La Grange Police Report
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of June 30-July 7.
Assault
On June 30, Officer John Wostarek took information for an assault in the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.
On July 6, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 600 block of E. Guadalupe for reported assault.
Agency Assist
On July 5, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Jefferson regarding an agency assist.
Accident
On July 1, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy 71 business for a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot.
On July 5, Anderson responded to the 200 block of E. Travis for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries.
On July 6, Hayne was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Madison regarding a twovehicle accident.
Animal Complaint
On June 30, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding an animal complaint.
On June 30, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Eblin regarding an animal complaint.
On June 30, Maxwell was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Jefferson regarding an animal complaint.
On July 1, Keeney responded to the 600 block of S. Jefferson for an animal complaint.
On July 5, Keeney responded to the 100 block of S. Main for an animal complaint.
Civil Matter
On June 30, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding a civil matter.
Disorderly Conduct
On July 4, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 500 block of E. Pecan for people setting off fireworks. The people were gone upon officers’ arrival.
On July 7, Hayne was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy 71 business regarding disorderly conduct.
Disturbance
On June 30, Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Colorado regarding a verbal disturbance.
On July 5, Haynie was dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Travis regarding a disturbance.
On July 6, Keeney responded to the 200 block of S. Ellinger for a report of nonviolent family disturbance.
Fraud
On July 2, Chief David Gilbreath responded to the 700 block of E. Pecan regarding fraud.
Runaway
On July 4, Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Fannin regarding a runaway.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle On July 2, Keeney responded to the intersection of E. Crockett and S. Franklin for a suspicious person.
On July 3, Keeney responded to the 400 block of W. Colorado for a suspicious vehicle.
On July 3, Maxwell was dispatched to the 2300 block of W. State Hwy. 71 regarding a suspicious person.
On July 3, Keeney responded to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for a suspicious vehicle.
On July 7, Hayne was dispatched to the 1500 block of W. State Hwy. 71 regarding a suspicious vehicle.
Theft
On July 2, Keeney responded to the 700 block of N. Washington for a theft report.
Trespassing
On July 2, Anderson responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 regarding two people trespassing at the location.
On July 3, Meinardus responded to the 400 block of E. Travis for criminal trespass.
Warrant Arrest
On July 6, Hayne was dispatched to One St. Mark’s Place regarding a welfare concern and one subject was arrested for five outstanding warrants and failure to identify fugitive intent to give false information.
Welfare Check
On June 30, Meinardus responded to the 500 block of N. Jefferson for a welfare call.
