La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the first week of June 23-30.
Assault
On June 30, Officer John Wostarek took information for an assault in the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.
Accident
On June 24, Officer Curtis Zwahr responded to a two-vehicle accident at Hwy 77 and Hwy 71 feeder.
On June 27, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to E. Fannin and N. Franklin regarding a two-vehicle accident.
On June 29, Wostarek was dispatched to the 400 block of S. Vail for an accident.
Animal Complaint
On June 24, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Pearl for an animal complaint.
On June 25, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of NW Circle for an animal complaint.
On June 26, Anderson responded to the 700 block of N. Horton for two loose dogs. Officer was unable to locate the dogs.
On June 30, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding an animal complaint.
On June 30, Maxwell was dispatched to the 600 block of S. Jefferson regarding an animal complaint.
Burglary
On June 29, Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Franklin regarding a burglary. Civil Matter
On June 25, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1600 block of N. Jefferson regarding a civil matter.
On June 27, Anderson responded to the 400 block of N. Jefferson for a civil matter.
On June 27, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Pearl for a civil matter.
On June 30, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding a civil matter.
Criminal Mischief
On June 26, Anderson responded to the 900 block of Mode regarding a male riding a dirt bike in the park causing damage.
On June 29, Meinardus responded to the 200 block of S. Jefferson where caller advised someone drove through his fence.
Citizen Assist
On June 27, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Lafayette regarding a scratching noise on the patio.
Credit Card Abuse
On June 29, Meinardus took a report from complainant in the 800 block of E. Travis regarding fraudulent charges on her debit card.
Disturbance
On June 23, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 300 block of Cedar for a disturbance.
On June 28, Wostrek was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Jefferson regarding a verbal disturbance.
On June 30, Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of E .Colorado regarding a verbal disturbance.
Fraud
On June 24, Meinardus did a follow up on a fraud case in the 300 block of Fireside.
Family Violence
On June 28, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Pearl regarding family violence. Harassment
On June 25, Meinardus responded to the 400 block of E. Travis for a harassment complaint.
On June 26, Haynie spoke with a subject in the 700 block of E. Lafayette regarding harassment.
On June 29, Wostarek responded to the 600 block of N. Horton regarding harassment.
Juvenile Complaint
On June 29, Maxwell was dispatched to the 400 block of S. Washington regarding a juvenile complaint.
Lost Item
On June 23, Keeney responded to the 100 block of S. Main to assist a citizen with a lost item.
Suspicious Vehicle/Subject On June 27, Haynie was dispatched to the 600 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass regarding a suspicious vehicle.
On June 28-Haynie was dispatched the 100 block of N. Main for suspicious person lying on the ground.
Trespassing
On June 25, Anderson responded to the 1600 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding an employee that had been fired and refused to leave the property.
Theft
On June 24, Zwahr spoke with a caller regarding a stolen license plate.
On June 27, Officer Jeffrey Archerd was dispatched to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding theft.
Welfare Check
On June 23, Keeney responded to the 1000 block of Sunset for a welfare check.
On June 25, Anderson responded to the 400 block of Ellinger for a welfare check.
On June 26, Zwahr responded to the 2100 block of W. Travis for a welfare check.
