La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of June 9-16.

Assault

On June 16-Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy 71 bypass regarding a fight in progress.

Accident

On June 12, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 300 block of N. Main regarding an accident.

Animal Complaint

On June 11, Animal Control officer Justin Pietsch picked up a cat in the 700 block of E. Guadalupe and took to the shelter.

On June 13, Keeney responded to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for an animal complaint.

On June 14, Officer Jeffrey Archerd was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Washington regarding an animal complaint, animal was removed. Burglary

On June 11, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy 159 regarding a burglary of a coin operated machine.

Citizen Assist

On June 9, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Monroe regarding a citizen assist.

Disturbance

On June 9, Haynie was dispatched to the 300 block of W. Northline regarding a family disturbance.

On June 9, Sgt. Travis Anderson was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Main regarding a disturbance.

On June 10, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Jefferson regarding a verbal disturbance.

On June 15, Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of Cindy Lane regarding a verbal disturbance.

On June 15, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding a subject yelling.

Discharging Firearm

On June 12, Anderson received a call regarding possible gunshots or fireworks around 700 N. Horton.

Identity Theft

On June 13, Keeney responded to the 300 block of Fireside regarding an identity theft report.

Loitering

On June 11, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 100 block of E. Live Oak for subjects loitering at the library. Officer spoke with subject who advised they were living in their car. Subject went to the rest stop after being advised they could not camp in the city limits.

Loud Music

On June 14, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Pecan regarding a loud high-pitched sound.

On June 14, Wostarek was dispatched to the 400 block of S. Ellinger regarding a noise complaint.

Missing Person

On June 13, Haynie was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding a welfare check and missing person.

Possession

On June 13, Haynie stopped a driver in the 200 block of N. Jefferson and a probable cause search was conducted and contraband was seized.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle On June 11, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Live Oak regarding a suspicious person.

On June 11, Maxwell was dispatched to the 200 block of W. Colorado regarding a suspicious person. On June 12, Keeney responded to the 300 block of W. Crockett for a suspicious person.

On June 13, Officer Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Milam regarding a suspicious circumstance.

On June 13, Keeney responded to the 100 block of N. Jefferson for a suspicious vehicle.

On June 16, Wostarek was dispatched to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding a suspicious vehicle.

Terroristic Threat

On June 15, Meinardus responded to the 1500 block of W. Hwy. 71 business regarding a disturbance and terroristic threat.

Welfare Check

On June 11, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1800 block of N. Jefferson regarding a welfare check.

On June 12, Keeney responded to the 500 block of S. Meyer regarding a welfare check.

On June 12, Anderson responded to the 200 block of S. Ellinger regarding a homeless female asking for assistance.

Miscellaneous

On June 9, Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Pearl regarding a loud person.

On June 10, Meinardus responded to the 600 block of E. State Hwy 71 bypass for a vehicle parked partially in the roadway. Officer contacted the driver, and he moved it.

On June 13, Anderson received a call regarding a child locked inside a vehicle in the 600 block of E. State Hwy. 71 business.

On June 14, Wostrek was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Walnut regarding a traffic hazard.

On June 16, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Live Oak regarding a motorist assist.
