La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the first week of May 5-12.

Accident

On May 6, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding a traffic accident.

On May 8, Officer John Wostarek responded to the 400 block of E. Travis for an accident.

On May 9, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 600 block of S. Jefferson for a two-vehicle accident hit and run.

On May 11, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 1300 block of N. Jefferson for an auto accident on private property.

Animal Complaint

On May 7, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Jefferson regarding an animal complaint.

On May 10, Keeney responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business for an animal complaint.

Citizen Assist

On May 11, Haynie was dispatched to the 1000 block of S. Madison regarding a citizen assist.

Child Locked in Vehicle

On May 11, Keeney responded to the 900 block of N. Jefferson for a vehicle unlock with a child inside.

On May 9, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 900 block of Hanacek Lane for discharging firearm.

Disturbance

On May 7, Meinardus responded to the 400 block of S. Monroe where caller reported two girls standing in the roadway wanting to fight another girl who was not at the location.

On May 9, Maxwell was dispatched to the 800 block of E. Travis regarding a disturbance.

On May 10, Keeney responded to the 900 block of E. Lafayette for a possible disturbance.

Family Violence

On May 6, Keeney responded to the 500 block of E. Guadalupe for assault family violence.

Harassment

On May 6, Anderson spoke with complainant regarding suspicious circumstance.

On May 7, Keeney responded to the 900 block of E. Travis for report of harassment.

On May 9, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of W. Colorado regarding harassment.

Loud Music

On May 9, Meinardus responded to the 100 block of S.

Main for loud music.

Soliciting Without a Permit On May 10, Keeney responded to E. Walnut and S. Vail in response to report of soliciting without a permit.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle On May 6, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Main regarding a suspicious person.

On May 9, Maxwell was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding a suspicious vehicle.

Theft

On May 11, Keeney responded to the 600 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass for a report of stolen property.

On May 12, Keeney responded to the 100 block of Northwest Circle for report of theft.

Traffic Hazard

On May 6, Officer Jeffrey Archerd spoke with a caller regarding a traffic violation. A citation was issued.

Warrant Arrest

On May 5, Wostarek arrested a subject in the 1000 block of N. Von Minden on an outstanding warrant.
