La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the first week of May.
Accident
On May 3, Wostarek was dispatched to the 400 block of S. Ellinger for an accident.
Animal Complaint
On May 1, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to the intersection of S. College and E. Walnut regarding two loose dogs.
On May 1, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 400 block of S. Vail for an animal complaint.
Disturbance
On May 2, Keeney responded to the 1000 block of Hwy. 159 for a disturbance Reckless Driving
On May 1, Anderson received a call in regard to a reckless driver that had pulled into Texas One Stop.
On May 2, Keeney responded to the 500 block of Cindy Lane on a report of a barbecue grill being used illegally.
On May 4, Wostarek was dispatched to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business regarding a suspicious vehicle.
Traffic Hazard
On May 2, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 700 block of Sarah Jo for an internet or phone cable hanging in the roadway. Officer moved it out of the roadway.
Unauthorized Use of Vehicle On May 2, Haynie was dispatched to the 1600 block of N. Jefferson for a suspicious vehicle, one subject was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.
Welfare Check
On May 2, Keeney responded to the 600 block of S. Jefferson for a welfare check.
Scam
On May 1, Keeney responded to the 1200 block of E. Lake on a report of a scam.
