La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of May 11-18.

Assault

On May 15, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of Edgewood regarding assault family violence.

Arson

On May 12, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 600 block of E. Lafayette regarding a disturbance. Subject was arrested for arson and several other charges.

Animal Complaint

On May 12, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 11 block of W. Bluffview regarding an animal complaint.

On May 16, Wostarek was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Madison for an animal complaint.

Accident

On May 13, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Pecan for a two-vehicle accident.

On May 15, Officer Noah Geer responded to the 100 block of E. Walnut for a single vehicle accident. A semi hit a tree.

Civil Matter

On May 12, Wostarek was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Madison regarding a civil matter.

On May 15, Geer was dispatched to the 1900 block of Hwy. 159 regarding a civil matter.

On May 15, Haynie spoke with a subject regarding a civil matter in the 300 block of Fireside Lane.

On May 18, Wostarek responded to the 400 block of W. Colorado regarding a civil matter.

Disturbance

On May 13, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of Edgewood regarding a disturbance.

On May 15, Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding a disturbance.

On May 15, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 100 block of W. Fannin for a verbal disturbance.

Juvenile Complaint

On May 13, Officer Jeffrey Archerd spoke with a caller regarding a juvenile complaint in the 800 block of S. Vail.

Loud Music

On May 12, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Pearl regarding loud music.

On May 17, Wostarek was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Horton regarding loud music.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle

On May 16, Wostarek was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Jefferson regarding a suspicious person.

On May 16, Geer was advised that a male subject was screaming in the parking lot in the 2300 block of W. Hwy 71 Business.

On May 17, Maxwell was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Pecan regarding a suspicious vehicle.

Odor of Gas

On May 17, Maxwell was dispatched to the 200 block of N. Horton regarding an odor of gas.

Trespassing

On May 11, Haynie was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Walnut regarding trespassing.

Theft

On May 15, Haynie was dispatched to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 Bypass regarding a theft.

Unlawful Carry

On May 18, Maxwell conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of E. Pearl and the driver was arrested for possession and unlawful carrying of weapon.
