La Grange PD Wants Your Feedback
The La Grange Police Department has created a Community Policing Plan to direct its priorities and resources for the next five years and is seeking the public’s input to guide its development. The City of La Grange has contracted with Texas A&M’s Target Communities program to create the plan as well as develop a local taskforce comprised of leaders in the community along with officers to facilitate discussions on identifying existing conditions, key issues, and values of the police department. Since January of this year, the taskforce has been exploring best practices and strategies to help develop the content of the plan.
The public is being asked to provide feedback on services, officer interactions, and the overall safety of the community. All survey responses are anonymous and surveys are available online in both English and Spanish, https://tinyurl.com/LG-PoliceSurvey. La Grange Utility customers will also receive a paper copy of the survey in their May billing statements. The paper copy can be returned to the utilities department at City Hall or the QR Code can be scanned and the online survey will appear on your phone. Surveys completed by May 30 will be used to assist the taskforce in finalizing the La Grange Police Department’s Community Policing Plan.
