La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of June 7-14
Animal Complaint
On June 8, Animal Control Officer Leslie Yezakl responded to the 200 block of Lee for dog vs. livestock follow-up.
On June 10, Yezakl responded to the 600 block of E. Pearl for a bat at the splashpad.
On June 14, Officer Adrian Ortiz was dispatched to the 800 block of Jackson for an animal complaint.
Accident
On June 10, Officer Ryan Mills discovered an accident in the 700 block of N. Franklin involving property damage.
On June 10, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Sunset Lane regarding an accident.
On June 13, Officer Jose Garza responded to the 1300 block of N. Jefferson for an accident.
Child Locked in Vehicle
On June 9, Ortiz was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Washington regarding a child locked in vehicle.
Civil Matter
On June 8, Garza responded to the 1000 block of E.
Travis for a civil matter.
On June 14, Garza responded to the 2200 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for a civil matter.
Disturbance
On June 11, Haynie was dispatched to the 900 block of E. Travis for a disturbance.
Harassment
On June 7, Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Lester regarding harassment.
On June 13, Ortiz was dispatched to the 65 block of E. Bluffview regarding harassment.
Identity Theft
On June 10, Mills met with a citizen in the 200 block of E. Roitsch regarding identity theft.
Soliciting without a Permit
On June 11, Mills responded to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy 71 bypass Texas One Stop in reference to panhandling.
Suspicious Vehicle/person
On June 9, Ortiz was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Jefferson regarding a suspicious vehicle.
On June 10, Garza responded to the 800 block of E. Helter for a suspicious vehicle.
On June 12, Garza responded to the 700 block of N. Horton in reference to a suspicious vehicle.
Theft
On June 9, Ortiz was notified of a theft in the 500 block of E. Guadalupe.
On June 12, Ortiz was dispatched to the 200 block of Edgewood Lane regarding a theft.
Terroristic Threat
On June 13, Ortiz was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Horton regarding a possible terroristic threat.
Welfare Check
On June 13, Garza responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for a welfare check.
On June 14, Ortiz initiated a welfare check in the 1400 block of N. Jefferson.
On June 14, Garza responded to the 200 block of S. Reynolds for a welfare check.
