La Grange Noon Lions Club welcomed new member Lion LisaAdamcik to the club. Induction Officer Lion David Wagner along with Lion President Craig Moreau inducted Lion Lisa Adamcik at a recent meeting. Her sponsor is Lion Adrienne Armstrong.
At this meeting, speaker was Leo Club member Reagan Moreau who gave a wonderful presentation of her experiences attending the Empower Youth Tour with the National Rural Electric Cooperatives Association this past summer.
Reagan was selected by Fayette Electric Cooperative and won a free trip to Washington, D.C. which brings local students up close to monuments, museums, art and historical sites in and around Washington D.C. as well as providing a firsthand look at how our federal government works with visits to the U.S. Capitol and with congressional representatives.
Some of her most memorable experiences included visiting the Arlington National Cemetery, the Holocaust Museum, and the National Air and Space Museum.
