La Grange Designates February as Quilt Month; Big Show This Week

La Grange Mayor Jan Dockery (center) signed a proclamation designating February as “Colorado Valley Quilt Guild Month.” On hand for the signing were CVQG members (from left) Gay Dobbs, Dawn Allison, Jackie Asbill, Barbara Schellberg, Pat Scherer, and Gail Duncan. On Friday and Saturday, Feb. 21-22, the 27th annual “The Best Little Quilt Show in Texas” will be held at the La Grange KC Hall. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Entrance fee is $10. This year’s theme is “An Amazing Tropical Paradise.”
