LHS Band Heads to State Wednesday

The La Grange High School marching band has qualified for state for the first time in school history. The band is performing their show “Sonoran Sketches” at the Alamodome at 3 p.m. Wednesday. School is being ended early that day (at noon) so more people can go to the show. But if you can’t make it to San Antonio, you can still cheer on the band as they depart for state Wednesday. A send off parade for the band will begin at the high school at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday and proceed around town (see below map for route).
