KJZT St. Anne’s Society No. 10 Meets

The meeting of the KJZT St. Anne’s Society No. 10 was called to order at 1 p.m. on May 20, at St. John’s Hall. President Mary Jane Toddy opened the meeting with prayers for all living members and their families and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. There were 7 members present.

Rose Rohde read the minutes from the previous meeting, Helen Wied reported cards sent/received and Lois Kaspar gave the Treasurer’s report.

In old business, a report was given on members that attended bingo at TLC Nursing Home in Columbus in April.

In new business, KJZT Family Life is hosting a Society Membership Contest that ends June 30. There will be a KJZT Family Day held on June 8 at Splashway Waterpark in Sheridan. Flag Day is June 14, officers will be scheduling a proclamation with the Mayor of Fayetteville.

Mary Jane Toddy and Lois Kaspar will be attending the General Convention at the La Grange KC Hall on July 12. The District III meeting will be in Ellinger on September 21 with all members invited to attend. Stacy Ryza and Madeline Kovar will be in charge of auditing the Society No. 10 financials in August.

A moment of silence was held for Regina Gerik, who passed away May 18.

Attendance prize winner was Lois Kaspar and the next meeting will be held Tuesday, Aug. 19.

After the closing prayer, the meeting was adjourned, lunch and bingo followed.
