KJT Society No. 46 Donates to AMEN Pantry

Catholic Union of Texas, KJT Society No. 46, La Grange, presented three donations totaling over $4,000 to A.M.E.N. Food Pantry Director Cassie Girard at their annual Christmas social on Dec. 7. The donations included one half of the net proceeds from the Society’s annual Chicken Fajita Drive-thru held in October. The donations also included a matching grant from the KJT Home Office for the proceeds of the bake sale held in conjunction with the Fajita Drive-thru. The third donation was a grant from the KJT Memorial Foundation where $500 grants were given to local food pantries for KJT societies throughout Texas. The society thanks the community and members who supported the drive-thru and the KJT home office for their contributions.
