Join the Texas Master Naturalist Program
Are you fascinated by the wonders of nature? Do you want to make a difference in your community’s natural resources? The Gideon Lincecum Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalists invites you to join the 2025 Training class.
Texas Master Naturalists must successfully complete an approved training program with at least 40 hours of combined field and classroom instruction through a Texas Master Naturalist Chapter. Our program runs from Jan. 11 through May 17, 2025, featuring:
• Engaging Saturday sessions • Convenient Monday night Zoom meetings
• Expert led presentations and guided field trips We’ll explore:
• Climatology and Herpetology • Botany and Ornithology
• Soil Science and Pollinators • Mammalogy and Archaeology • Forest and Prairie Ecology
• Land Stewardship
• Citizen Science techniques • And so much more.
Whether you’re curious about the grass in your backyard or the butterflies fluttering by, this comprehensive course will open your eyes to the natural world around you.
