Johnny & Linda Oviedo Selected This Year’s Fair Parade Marshals

Johnny and Linda Oviedo have been named the Parade Marshals for this year’s Fayette County Fair Parade, which will begin August 31 at 10:30 a.m. in downtown La Grange.

The Oviedos were both born and raised in Del Rio. They moved to La Grange in 2008 when they bought La Grange Dodge from Brent Baker. In 2016 they purchased Brasher-Gunn from Henry Gunn.

They have continued the growth of those dealerships, as well as being strong supports of local civic organizations and charities.

The Oviedos say “they truly feel blessed to be a part of this community.”

Johnny and Linda have five children; John Jr. (with his wife Ann), Sarah, Michael, Steven and Molly. They also have four grandchildren: Mason and Myles Pohl and Camilla and Nicolas Oviedo. On Saturday Aug. 31, Johnny and Linda will be celebrating their 39th wedding anniversary.
