Jernigan Joins the La Grange City Council

La Grange City Secretary Janet Bayer (right) administers the oath of office to new Ward 4 Councilman Chris Jernigan (left), on Monday night, Nov. 12. The City Council appointed Jernigan to fill the unexpired term that was left vacant after Councilman Arthur Bosque passed away last month. The appointment will last until the May 3, 2025 City Election. The City solicited applications for the vacant seat. Jernigan was the only Ward 4 resident who applied. He previously served on the Council from 2021-2022.
