Janda Fritsch Enjoys Surprise 65th Birthday Celebration

Janda Fritsch recently celebrated her 65th birthday at the Ellinger Chamber of Commerce Hall. The surprise party was hippie themed and tacos and all the fixings were served. The dining room was decorated with balloons, covered tables and pictures. Delicious desserts included her birthday cake, which was a tres leches cake. She enjoyed the afternoon with friends and family.

Shared Lutheran Ministry St. John in Ellinger will have the annual bake sale and hotdogs on Saturday, May 9 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the church. Free will donation for the baked goods. Come get your goodies for Mother’s Day weekend.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church St. Mary’s Catholic Church mass is Sunday at 8 a.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services.

Ellinger Chamber 

The chamber will meet on Tuesday, May 12 at 7 p.m. in the chamber dining room. All chamber and community members are invited to attend.

Ellinger Sewer and Water Ellinger Sewer and Water Supply Corporation will meet Monday, May 11 at the fire station at 6 p.m.
