Invenergy Donates to Flatonia ISD

Invenergy, the largest private developer, owner, and operator of cleaner, affordable, and reliable energy solutions supported a teacher appreciation breakfast for Flatonia Independent School District (ISD) and presented the district with a donation of $1,250 to support teachers and students.

“Our teachers are shaping the future leaders of the world, and their impact extends far beyond the walls of the classroom,” said Cody Pruit, O&M Manager for Invenergy, “We’re proud to work alongside a community that empowers educators and students which is why we remain committed to supporting Flatonia ISD.”

The donation is part of ongoing engagement in the Fayette County community and is part of the company’s broader effort to support the development of the next generation by increasing access to opportunities and resources for students and teachers across Texas.

“Community partners play a critical role in our work to prepare today’s students for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow,” said Chris Sodek, Superintendent, Flatonia ISD. “Our teachers are deeply appreciative of this support, and this donation will directly impact their ability to foster future industry leaders.”

Invenergy operates the 7V Solar Ranch, a 240 MW energy generation facility in Fayette County owned by Naturgy. 7V Solar Ranch is one of 27 energy facilities in the state operated by Invenergy Services, playing a role in securing Texas’ energy leadership.
