Individuals Evade County Deputies

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Wednesday, June 8 the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a Ford Explorer for a traffic violation on IH-10 at the 667 east bound mile marker.

The vehicle failed to yield and eventually was abandoned on Hwy. 90 just east of Engle. Several subjects exited the vehicle. Deputies were unable to apprehend anyone and at this time are still searching the area.
