Hound Song Brewing Co. Awarded Bronze Medals

Hound Song Brewing Co. was awarded two bronze medals at the first statewide professional beer competition in Texas, the Texas Craft Brewers Cup.

In the inagaural competition hosted by the Texas Craft Brewer’s Guild, the best beers in 27 medal categories covering 150+ different beer styles were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals during an awards ceremony at the Texas Craft Brewers Guild’s Annual Meeting at Hilton Austin on Saturday, Feb. 12.

Hound Song Brewing Co. is Colorado County’s original brewery located in downtown Columbus. The brewery focuses on producing full flavored and balanced beers. The brewery also hosts a live music venue, private rental space, small bakery, and will open a full kitchen in Spring 2022

Judging for the competition took place Jan. 29-30 in Austin with 37 judges evaluating 755 anonymized entries from 131 breweries hailing from all different corners of the state.
