Hostyn Hospitality, and a Big Tractor, Gets Convoy Up the Hill
A convoy hauling a massive boiler en route to Victoria stalled as it went up the Hostyn Hill Sunday. One of the workers in the convoy saw a roadside sign Ryan Janda had for selling hay and called to ask if he might be of assistance. Ryan hopped on his tractor and helped pull the load (which weighed as estimated 650,000-670,000 pounds, trucks and trailer included) up the hill to get them on their way. Before they left they off ered to pay Ryan for the help. “I refused,” Ryan said. “I was just glad I could help someone in need.”
