Grand Jury Hands Down 22 Indictments
A Fayette County Grand Jury handed down 22 indictments for felony offenses on May 26.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt. Rather, a grand jury indicts a defendant when they find enough evidence to formally accuse that person of a crime. All defendants listed below are innocent unless proven guilty.
Richard Bernard Baca, 53 of La Grange, was indicted for assault of a family/household member with a previous conviction, allegedly committed on May 10.
Sean Elliott Knebel, 40 of Ellinger, was indicted for assault of a family/household member with a previous conviction, allegedly committed on March 22.
Niyusha Sabaghi-Khosravi, 23 of Richmond, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, greater than or equal to one gram and less than four grams, allegedly committed on Nov. 16, 2021.
Joel Maldonado, Jr., 20 of Smithville, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, greater than or equal to four grams and less than 200 grams, allegedly committed on April 29, 2020.
Tequisha Nicole Mathis, 42 of San Antonio, was indicted for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, allegedly committed on April 1.
Justin Stephon Taylor, 29 of Houston, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1/1-B, less than one gram, allegedly committed on Jan. 2, 2021.
Devon Randall Mitchell, 24 of Houston, was indicted for theft of property less than $2,500 with two or more previous convictions, allegedly committed on April 19.
Patricia Lynn Ripper, 44 of La Grange, was indicted for two counts of assault of a family/ household member with a previous conviction, allegedly committed on April 14 and May 6.
Justin Michael Beier, 32 of McDade, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than one gram, allegedly committed on Dec. 15, 2021.
Earl Royland Williams, 31 of Houston, was indicted for theft of property, greater than or equal to $2,500 and less than $30,000, allegedly committed on April 27.
Brizo Argenis-Alfredo, 25 of Austin, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, greater than 400 grams, allegedly committed on Nov. 10, 2021.
Benny Santana, 55 of Austin, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, greater than 400 grams, allegedly committed on Nov. 10, 2021.
Adreana Rose Garcia, 20 of San Antonio, was indicted for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, less than five items, allegedly committed on Jan. 18.
Malyk Jason, 26 of San Antonio, was indicted for tampering or fabricating with physical evidence with intent to impair, allegedly committed on Jan. 18.
Ana Lizbeth Lopez, 23 of La Grange, was indicted for assault of a family or household member by impeding breath or circulation, allegedly committed on May 9.
Nicholas Alan Emmons, 36 of New Braunfels, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than one gram, allegedly committed on Dec. 28, 2019.
Bentley Donato Martinez, 17 of Manville, was indicted for theft of a firearm, allegedly committed on Jan. 11.
Danthony Villa, 21 of Houston, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, greater than or equal to one gram and less than four grams, allegedly committed on April 17, 2020.
Nathaniel Ellis Grimes, 33 of West Point, was indicted for assault of a family/household member with a previous conviction, allegedly committed on April 12.
Jayson Rashaad Guilbeau, 17 of Port Arthur, was indicted for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, allegedly committed on April 25.
Matthew Keith Fredenburg, 38 of Carmine, was indicted for online solicitation of a minor, allegedly committed on May 19.
