Girl Scouts Recognized

In 2024, Troop 32077 was designated a Super Troop by the Austin Area GS Council for the second consecutive year for their high level of involvement in all aspects of the Girl Scout program. The Scouts, each of whom volunteers at the Gardenia Janssen Animal Shelter, are shown with their award certificates and displaying one of six posters they created to promote pet adoption and fostering. Their posters will be displayed throughout Fayette County. Text Troop Leader Rebecca Hegar at (817) 832-1872 to support the shelter by hosting a poster at a business or public site. Girl Scout Troop 32077 appreciates the Fayette County community for its support during the 2025 cookie season. Special appreciation goes to Walmart in La Grange and Hruska’s in Ellinger for hosting cookie booths involving multiple Troops. As part of their Bronze Award project supporting the Gardenia Janssen Animal Shelter, Troop 32077 is donating boxes of Girl Scout cookies to be given as a “thank you” to those adopting pets. Additional boxes will go to AMEN Food Pantry and Care Inn.
