Food Pantry Serves Over 200 Families In January

The AMEN Food Pantry appreciates all in the community that provided food assistance for the month of January. This includes all who provided monetary donations, food drives and the AMEN Gardens.

A recap for the month provides the following statistics. 271 families were served in January, which represented 799 individuals served. Total volume was reduced due to the pantry being closed on the days of the extremely freezing weather. If the pantry were open the families served would be closer to 350 for the month.

Donated food was 6,594 pounds. The number of volunteers was 147 for a total of 504 hours.

The panty is open to provide products on Monday from 9 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. and open on Thursday for drop off from 10 a.m.-noon.
