Fire Damages Flatonia Cafe

A fire last week damaged the Jamie’s Cafe at the Flatonia Livestock barn, but Monday’s livestock auction went on as scheduled.

“We had a fire inside the cafe and we were blessed that nothing was damaged in the office area or the auditorium but unfortunately the cafe suffered the worst,” Flatonia Livestock posted on social media. “The cafe will be temporarily closed and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused but we will get through this .. it’s in God’s hands and the cafe will be up and running soon.”
